Life here at Technip is brimming with events - where employees can pursue their interests in areas as varied as arts, culture, or sports. The objective is to ensure that employees are not confined to their desks. We have an active Sports and Cultural Committee and the Ladies Wing with regular events.
Sports Committee
The various activities would be as follows:
- Annual sports meet mixed along with the sports day comprising of track events, field events, indoor games and out door games.
- Monthly activities for both out door and indoor games (proposed and will be implemented)
- Identifying internal talents and using the same for inter company tournaments.
- Proposed magazine highlighting the activities of the sports committee
The list of games in which our people would be participating for tournaments are:
- Cricket
- Volley Ball
- Foot Ball
- Table Tennis
- Chess
- Carroms
The Sports Committee comprises of 12 active co-coordinators in various operating centers of Technip India Limited which includes a President and a Secretary.
There will be a monthly meeting to analyze and review the happenings and put forward propositions for future activities.
Every game is organized in such a way that the participant has a feeling of a gettogether with their collegues.
Ladies Wing
We have an active Ladies Wing in TPIL. This consists of Lady Employees of Technip India Limited as well as wives of the male employees of Technip India Limited.
The President of this club is the First Lady of Technip India Mrs. Jaishree Shanker, Wife of Mr. K Shanker MD - Technip India Limited.
TPIL Ladies wing has launched a website to highlight their activities and share them with the members.
International Women’s Day
8th March is celebrated as International Women’s day all over the world. We at Technip also celebrate the same. There is a get together of all the ladies working in Technip and a small celebration is held.
Annual Ladies Nite
Once a year there is a get together of all the ladies for dinner. There is a lot of fun and frolic as there is active participation from all the ladies.
There is a Talent Show organized and there is a large bouquet of programs, which consists of: Group Singing, Solo Singing, Group Dances, Solo Dances, Fashion Show.
Merit Scholars
Technip India Women Forum constituted a cash awards for the students (Children of the employees) who scored more than 90% in Plus Two exams.
Other Events
Company Day
We have our Company day on 26th June. This year we celebrated the same at The Music Academy with John Britto and his troupe performing to the tunes of Salsa..
Our bright stars of Technip gave a wonderful performance on Dance, Poetry, Songs and Mimicry. And not to forget the wonderful performance by our trainees on Titanic in Tamil.
