Sustainable Development

Quality, the health of the personnel working on the job sites or in the industrial facilities built by Technip, as well as environmental protection are Technip’s top priorities. These concerns are taken into account at the earliest stage when the facility is being designed and appropriate measures are applied strictly at each stage of project execution. Technip has been a member of the Dow Jones Sustainability Indexes since 2002 and the U.N. Global Compact since 2003.

In 2003, Technip joined the Global Compact program launched by the United Nations. At the same time, and within the framework of our business activities, we underscored our determination to contribute to the quest for concrete answers to today’s pressing issues of sustainable development, corporate social and civic responsibility, and globalization.

Technip is committed to the 10 principles of the Global Compact on Human Rights, Labor standards, protection of the environment and anti-corruption. These principles are in line with those defined in Technip’s charters.

The Group’s commitment to sustainable development is an integral part of its strategic directions and a cornerstone of its corporate mission for the years to come. It expresses itself in the company values, giving them substance with the aim of promoting them within our sphere of influence.
